More Clare people benefitting from medical and GP visit cards
An additional 55 Clare people have benefited from GP cards since new changes came into effect in April, local Fine Gael TD Joe Carey has confirmed.

The increased rate of pensions and weekly social welfare payments introduced in Budget 2019 will come into effect for more than 24,000 Clare families and individuals next week.

There has been a significant increase in the number of Clare people benefitting from dental, optical and aural services over the past year since the treatment benefit scheme operated by the Department of Social Protection was extended to include self-employed people.
